What: Updated difficult to navigate data dashboards and site.

Why: NewSTEPs serves as a vital hub for the scientific community. The difficulty to navigate APHL properties hindered the scientific community from engaging with newborn screening resources, trainings, technical assistance, and data.

How: Through an understanding of key use cases, we built out confirmed case forms, Genomic and genetic new born disorder dashboards, and a resource center for users to understand how to get help, or provide help.

Impact: Increased cumulative Pvs by 38% YoY from 2020-2021.
