What: Created a Public Health Accreditation Data Portal for the general public and accredited health departments.
Why: Health departments seeking accreditation needed a way to benchmark their progress against others to improve scores and ultimately pass the accreditation process. The public relies on this information to choose facilities for help based on accreditation status.
How: In collaboration with PHAB and the CDC, I led the development of data dashboards that precisely depicted the key indicators driving the accreditation process. By seamlessly integrating health department data into these dashboards, we ensured a comprehensive and accurate representation of each field, enhancing transparency and efficiency in decision-making processes.
Impact: Increased health department accreditation by 26% YoY from 2019-2020.
